Northern between Manchester Airport and Blackpool North / Barrow-in-Furness / Windermere, between Leeds and Wigan Wallgate, between Stalybridge / Manchester Oxford Road and Southport, between Blackburn and Headbolt Lane, and also between Liverpool Lime Street and Wigan North Western / Blackpool North

Description

Engineering work is taking place in the Wigan area, closing all lines before 13:30.

Northern:

Buses will replace trains between:

• St Helens Central and Wigan North Western / Preston

• Southport and Wigan Wallgate

• Headbolt Lane and Wigan Wallgate

• Wigan Wallgate and Salford Crescent via Atherton

• Bolton and Preston

• Wigan Wallgate and Bolton

TransPennine Express:

Before 13:30:

• Trains will not run between Manchester Victoria / Manchester Piccadilly and Preston

• Trains will not run between Liverpool Lime Street and Preston

Replacement buses will run between Liverpool Lime Street / Manchester Airport / Manchester Piccadilly and Preston
