Engineering work is taking place between Wigan North Western and Lancaster, closing all lines before 16:35. ​​​​​​​

Avanti West Coast:

Before 16:35:

A very limited / reduced service will run to / from / via Preston.

Buses will replace trains between:

• Preston and Lancaster.

• Warrington Bank Quay and Preston.

Northern:

Before 16:35, buses will replace trains between Preston and Lancaster.

TransPennine Express:

Before 16:35, replacement buses will run between:

• Manchester Airport and Preston.

• Preston and Lancaster.
