Description
Engineering work is taking place between York and Newcastle, closing some lines.
CrossCountry:
Saturday:
Buses will replace trains between York and Newcastle.
Sunday:
Buses will replace trains between Leeds, York and Newcastle.
LNER:
A reduced service of one train per hour will run in each direction between London Kings Cross and Newcastle on a diversionary route between York and Newcastle. Journey times will be extended by up to one hour.
All other services will start / terminate at York and Newcastle.
Rail replacement buses will run between York and Newcastle.
Lumo:
Trains will operate between Newcastle and Edinburgh only.
On Saturday, a rail replacement bus service will run at 13:13 from Newcastle to Northallerton and at 14:48 from Northallerton connecting in and out of train services.
On Sunday, a rail replacement bus service will run at 11:13 from Newcastle to Northallerton and at 12:48 from Northallerton connecting in and out of train services.
Northern:
Trains between Saltburn / Middlesbrough and Darlington / Bishop Auckland will start / terminate at Eaglescliffe.
Rail replacement buses will run between Eaglescliffe and Darlington / Bishop Auckland.
TransPennine Express:
Saturday and Sunday:
Buses will replace trains between York and Newcastle.
Sunday only:
An hourly train service will run between:
Liverpool Lime Street and York.
Manchester Victoria and Saltburn.
York and Scarborough.
Manchester Piccadilly and Leeds.
One service every two hours will run between Leeds and Hull.
