Mobility Scooter Restrictions
Check our guide to see if you are able to travel on the train with your mobility scooter
You can take mobility scooters on trains. However, many train companies apply restrictions and the table below gives you details about travelling with scooters on their trains.
It also shows which companies require you to get a scooter permit before you travel. You can apply for a permit online by visiting the train company’s website, where you will also find all the information you need when travelling with a mobility scooter.
