Buses replace trains between Nottingham and Grantham / Newark Castle / Newark North Gate on Saturday 1 February and Sunday 2 February

Between Matlock and Newark Castle; between Liverpool Lime Street and Norwich; between Leicester and Lincoln; and also between Nottingham and Skegness

Engineering work is taking place between Nottingham and Netherfield / Carlton closing all lines.

Buses will replace trains between Nottingham and Grantham / Newark Castle / Newark North Gate.

Trains between Liverpool Lime Street and Norwich will run as two separate trains. Customers travelling direct between Liverpool Lime Street and Norwich will have to change trains at Nottingham.

The train between Nottingham and Norwich is also diverted to run via Melton Mowbray.

Travelling to / from Aslockton?

Due to roadworks in the area, the full-size rail replacement buses will be unable to access Aslockton station. The replacement buses between Nottingham and Grantham will instead call at Whatton Village. They will pick up / drop off on Grantham Road near the crossroads with Conery Lane and Main Street. A shuttle minibus will run between Aslockton station and Whatton Village.
