Description

Engineering work is taking place between London Fenchurch Street and Pitsea via Rainham and Grays, closing the line on various days and in various locations.

All weekend (from Friday 10 to Monday 13 April), there will be no c2c trains to / from London Fenchurch Street.

Trains that usually run to / from London Fenchurch Street will be diverted to run instead to / from London Liverpool Street. They will additionally call at Stratford. London Liverpool Street is within walking distance of London Fenchurch Street. 

Services across the c2c network will be retimed and diverted in order to maintain train services across the network.

The following alterations will also apply:

On Saturday, trains that normally run between London Fenchurch Street and Shoeburyness via Ockendon will be split and will run between Upminster and Grays and between Grays and Southend Central.

On Saturday and Sunday, trains between London Fenchurch Street and Grays via Rainham will not run. Buses will run between Upminster and Grays calling at Rainham and Purfleet. 

Customers to / from Dagenham Dock should use London Buses on routes EL2 or 287.  

Additionally on Sunday and Monday, buses will replace trains between Grays and Pitsea.

Ticket acceptance:

Valid tickets can be used on London Underground on the following routes:

  • District Line services between Upminster, Barking, West Ham and Tower Hill
  • Circle Line services between Tower Hill and London Liverpool Street
  • Jubilee Line services between West Ham and Stratford

Your ticket will also be valid on Docklands Light Railway on the following routes:

  • Between Tower Gateway, Limehouse, Poplar, Stratford and West Ham
