Engineering work is taking place overnight between Cardiff Central and Bridgend, closing some lines.

Great Western Railway:

Monday to Friday

The 03:46 Swansea to London Paddington will depart earlier at 03:41. Neath 03:53, Port Talbot Parkway 04:00 and Bridgend 04:14. It will be diverted between Bridgend and Cardiff Central (via Barry - not calling), departing Cardiff Central and beyond in normal timings.

Monday to Thursday

The 20:48 London Paddington to Swansea will be diverted between Cardiff Central and Bridgend (via Ninian Park - not calling), departing Bridgend and beyond a few minutes later than normal.

The 21:48 London Paddington to Swansea will be diverted between Cardiff Central and Bridgend (via Barry - not calling), departing Bridgend and beyond up to 23 minutes later than normal.

Transport for Wales:

From approximately 22:15, trains will run to an amended timetable with some rail replacement service between Cardiff Central and Bridgend.
