Southeastern between London Cannon Street and Slade Green / Dartford: and also between London Charing Cross and Dartford

Thameslink between St Albans City / London Bridge and Gillingham: and between Bedford / West Hampstead Thameslink / Kentish Town / London Bridge and Rainham

Engineering work is taking place between London and Charlton, closing all lines. As a result on this the following alterations will apply:


Woolwich line: There will be no trains via Greenwich all day and services which normally run between London Cannon Street and Crayford via Greenwich and Woolwich will not run.

Sidcup line: Services to / from London Cannon Street will not run. Services between London Charing Cross and Gravesend are retimed and will stop additionally at Lewisham.

Hayes line: Trains will run from London Charing Cross instead and will run non stop between London Bridge and Lewisham.

Buses will replace trains between Lewisham and Charlton via New Cross.

You may use the following services at no extra cost:

  • London Underground between London Charing Cross / Embankment (for London Charing Cross) / London Waterloo / Southwark / London Bridge / London Cannon Street
  • Docklands Light Railway between Lewisham & Greenwich


It is not yet know how this will affect Thameslink.
