Northern between Southport and Stalybridge

TransPennine Express between Liverpool Lime Street and Newcastle / Hull

Engineering work is taking place between Manchester Victoria and Stalybridge, closing various lines.


Trains between Southport and Stalybridge will start from / terminate at Manchester Victoria, not running between Manchester Victoria and Stalybridge. Buses will run between Stalybridge and Guide Bridge to connect with train services to / from Manchester Piccadilly.


Buses replace trains between Manchester Victoria and Stalybridge. 

TransPennine Express:


No trains will run between Stalybridge and Manchester Victoria. These services will be diverted to run between Stalybridge and Manchester Piccadilly instead.

TransPennine Express services on Sunday are unaffected by the engineering work.
