This station has step free access to both platforms but from different locations on Station Lane / Hall Lane, with approximately 350 metres between the entrances to each platform via the roadside. There is a stepped footbridge between the platforms. Platform 1 (for trains towards London) is accessible via the access road off Hall Lane, just beyond the level crossing, and Platform 2 (for trains towards Chelmsford and Colchester) is accessible from the station car park.
