Pets Room Cleaning Charge (Caledonian Sleeper)

The following terms and conditions apply to this type of ticket. Please note that some tickets have restrictions on the days or times you can travel. Please check before you travel.

Description

Supplement for travelling with up to two pets in Sleeper accommodation and for the thorough cleaning of the compartment after travel so that other guests who may be allergic to pets are not affected.

Pets can only be taken in rooms which is exclusively occupied by the same group. The cleaning charge is per room, not per pet.

Purchase Location

Tickets can be booked direct with Caledonian Sleepers at www.sleeper.scot or by calling 0330 060 0500.

Tickets can also be purchased at most major National Rail stations.

Purchase Availability

Tickets can be booked up to 12 months in advance. Also available up until just before train departure.

Pre-booking Requirement

Tickets must be bought in advance.

Reservations are compulsory on Sleeper services.

Refunds

For tickets purchased before 07 June 2023

Full refunds are available up to midday the day before travel. For after midnight departures this is midday 2 days before travel. There is no admin fee.

After midday the day before departure refunds are not available.

For tickets purchased on or after 07 June 2023

Refunds are available on a sliding scale depending on when the refund is requested.

  • 7 days or more before travel - a full refund is available with no admin fee

  • Less than 7 days and before midday the day before travel (2 days before for departures between 00:01 and 04:30) a 50% refund is available

  • After midday the day before departure (2 days before for departures between 00:01 and 04:30) refunds are no longer available

Changes To Travel Plans

There is no charge to change the date of the cleaning fee but it must show the correct date of the journey.
