What to do in Penzance
Penzance in West Cornwall is steeped in history with all the modern facilities to cater to the needs of today’s visitors and locals alike. Chapel Street is one of the oldest streets in Penzance, which is now home to a quirky mix of historic houses, one of which was home of Maria Branwell (mother of the Bronte sisters), pubs and independent shops.
Penzance’s mild climate means a beautiful display of greenery throughout the year. Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens combines nature and art, with displays of sculptures and installations that fit in beautifully with the dramatic landscape of the town.
