Description

Engineering work is taking place between London Paddington and Ealing Broadway, closing some lines on Sunday.

Elizabeth line:

Trains between Abbey Wood and Maidenhead will run between Abbey Wood and London Paddington (Elizabeth line platforms) only.

Trains between Abbey Wood and Heathrow Terminal 4 will run to a reduced timetable, with 2 trains per hour running.

Trains to / from Reading will additionally call at Iver.

2 trains per hour will call at Maidenhead, Burnham, Slough, Langley and West Drayton.

6 trains per hour will call at Hayes & Harlington, Southall and Ealing Broadway

No trains will call at Acton Main Line, Hanwell or West Ealing. For these stations, you can use your National Rail paper ticket or e-ticket at no extra cost on the following operators’ services:

  • London Buses

  • London Underground

If you are using contactless payment / Oyster card, you can also use the above alternative travel options but you will be required to pay the normal tap in / tap out fares for your journey.

Great Western Railway:

Long distance:

Trains to / from London Paddington will be retimed to run up to 7 minutes earlier or later than usual. Many of these trains will have amended calling patterns and will either not stop or call additionally at stations between London Paddington and Reading.

Local trains:

A reduced service will run between London Paddington and Reading / Didcot Parkway.

Some trains between Reading and Basingstoke will be retimed by a few minutes to help provide connections with amended train services.

Heathrow Express:

From 09:40 until 22:40, trains will run to an amended and reduced timetable between London Paddington and Heathrow Terminal 5, with trains running every 30 minutes.
