Description

Engineering work is taking place between London Paddington and Southall, closing 2 out of 4 lines throughout the day.

Elizabeth line:

Before 07:40:

The 00:07 Heathrow Terminal 5 to London Paddington service will depart later than usual at 00:12 and will terminate at Ealing Broadway.

No trains will run between London Paddington and Ealing Broadway.

For travel between London Paddington and Ealing Broadway, if you have a National Rail paper ticket or e-ticket, you can use your ticket at no extra cost on the following operators’ services:

• London Buses

• London Underground

If you are using contactless payment / Oyster card, you can also use the above alternative travel options but you will be required to pay the normal tap in / tap out fares for your journey.

After 07:40:

Trains which usually run between Abbey Wood and Maidenhead will be amended to run between Hayes & Harlington and Maidenhead only.

As a result, the following stations will have a reduced service of 2 trains per hour: Maidenhead, Burnham, Slough, Langley and West Drayton.

Trains to / from Reading will additionally call at Iver.

Long distance services between London Paddington and Oxford / Bristol Temple Meads / Cheltenham Spa / Worcester / Great Malvern / Hereford / Paignton / Plymouth / Penzance will be retimed to depart up to 6 minutes earlier or later than usual.

Local services:

The 06:20 Reading to London Paddington service will start at 06:39, and run later than usual throughout.

The 06:38 London Paddington to Reading service will not run. You should instead travel by later train services.

Between 09:15 and 21:15, trains between London Paddington and Didcot Parkway will be retimed to run earlier or later than usual.

Heathrow Express:

An amended service will run between London Paddington and Heathrow Terminal 5, with trains starting later than usual.

The first trains to run will be:

• The 07:27 Heathrow Terminal 5 to London Paddington service

• The 07:40 London Paddington to Heathrow Terminal 5 service
