Description

Engineering work is taking place in the Atherstone area, closing all lines.

All weekend, the line between Nuneaton and Stafford will be closed and trains will divert via Coventry / Birmingham.

Avanti West Coast:

Services are drastically reduced as shown below:

An hourly service will operate as follows:

  • London Euston - Birmingham New Street - Scotland

  • London Euston - Crewe - Manchester Piccadilly

  • London Euston - Stoke-on-Trent - Manchester Piccadilly

  • London Euston - Glasgow Central

A bi-hourly service will run between Crewe and Liverpool Lime Street, and North Wales Coast services will operate between Crewe and Holyhead only.

Road transport will operate between Coventry and Nuneaton to help you with your journey.

London Northwestern Railway:

Saturday:

Train services between London Euston / Northampton and Crewe will run between London Euston / Northampton and Rugby only. Rail replacement buses will operate between Rugby and Stafford.

Your ticket is valid to travel on alternate London Northwestern Railway services between Stafford and Crewe.

Sunday:

Train services between London Euston and Crewe will run between London Euston and Rugby only. The 21:13 Crewe to Northampton service will not run. Rail replacement buses will operate between Rugby and Stafford.

Your ticket is valid to travel on alternate London Northwestern Railway services between Stafford and Crewe.
