Description

Engineering work is taking place between Sheffield and Dore & Totley / Manchester Oxford Road, closing some lines.

East Midlands Railway:

On Saturday, an amended timetable will be in place on the Norwich to Liverpool Lime Street route, with trains from mid morning no longer calling at Sheffield and calling additionally at Dronfield, Alfreton, Langley Mill, Ilkeston and Bamford. Passengers travelling to / from Sheffield should use alternative services.

On Sunday, trains will run between Norwich and Sheffield, calling additionally at Alfreton, Langley Mill and Ilkeston. Passengers travelling beyond Sheffield should use other operators services.

Northern:

Trains that usually run between Sheffield and Manchester Piccadilly will run between Grindleford and Manchester Piccadilly only.

A replacement bus service will run between Sheffield and Bamford. Customers should transfer between bus and train at Bamford.

TransPennine Express:

No trains will run between Sheffield and Manchester Oxford Road via Stockport.

Trains between Sheffield and Manchester Piccadilly will be diverted to run via Huddersfield. Trains between York and Manchester Piccadilly will run between York and Wakefield Kirkgate only.
