Description

Engineering work is taking place between Basingstoke and Winchester, closing all lines overnight from Monday evening until Thursday morning.

CrossCountry:

Monday to Wednesday:

The 19:25 Manchester Piccadilly to Southampton Central will be diverted, and will not call at Winchester and Southampton Airport Parkway. Journey times to Southampton Central will be extended by 30 minutes.

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on South Western Railway road transport from Basingstoke to Winchester / Southampton Airport Parkway.

South Western Railway:

After 22:20 each night, buses will replace trains between Basingstoke and Southampton Central via Winchester. Some trains between London Waterloo and Bournemouth / Weymouth will be diverted to run via Havant, with extended journey times.
