Description

Engineering work is taking place overnight between Carnforth and Barrow-in-Furness, closing some lines.

Monday to Thursday:

The 20:44 Barrow-in-Furness to Lancaster service will not run. Customers should travel on the next available service.

The 21:59 Manchester Airport to Barrow-in-Furness service will terminate at Lancaster. A bus will be provided from Lancaster to Barrow-in-Furness. A mini-bus will be provided from Lancaster to Grange-over-Sands, calling at Silverdale and Arnside.

The 22:09 Lancaster to Barrow-in-Furness train service will not run and will be replaced by a bus. A mini-bus will be provided from Lancaster to Grange-over-Sands, calling at Silverdale and Arnside.

Tuesday to Friday:

The 04:58 Barrow-in-Furness to Manchester Airport service will start from Lancaster. A bus will be provided from Barrow-in-Furness to Lancaster, departing Barrow-in-Furness at 03:45 to connect with the train at Lancaster. A mini-bus will be provided from Grange-over-Sands to Lancaster (dep Grange-over-Sands at 04:20), calling at Arnside.
