Buses replace late night / early morning trains between Preston and Manchester Piccadilly via Bolton from Monday 1 to Friday 5 June

Northern between Blackpool North and Manchester Airport

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Preston and Horwich Parkway, closing all lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.

As a result, the following trains will be diverted to run via Wigan North Western, and will not call at stations between Leyland and Manchester Piccadilly via Bolton:

Monday to Thursday:

• The 22:48 Manchester Airport to Blackpool North service

• The 23:17 Manchester Airport to Blackpool North service

• The 23:22 Blackpool North to Manchester Airport service

• The 23:46 Manchester Airport to Blackpool North service

Replacement buses will run between Preston and Manchester Airport.

Tuesday to Friday:

• The 04:48 Manchester Airport to Blackpool North service

You should use the next train service instead, at no extra cost.
