Description

Engineering work is taking place between Bristol Temple Meads / Stroud and Gloucester, closing various lines.

CrossCountry:

Journey times will be extended by up to one hour.

Great Western Railway:

Saturday:

Trains between Weymouth / Salisbury / Westbury / Bristol Temple Meads and Gloucester / Worcester Shrub Hill / Foregate Street will NOT operate between Bristol Parkway and Gloucester

Except where shown below, trains between London Paddington / Swindon and Cheltenham Spa will start / terminate at Stroud.

Additionally, the 22:39 Swindon to Gloucester service will be replaced by a bus throughout.

Sunday:

Except where shown below, trains between Swindon and Cheltenham Spa will start / terminate at Stroud.

The following trains will also start / terminate at Stroud:

  • The 10:54, 15:00 and 17:00 Cheltenham Spa to London Paddington services.

  • The 17:33 (starting at 17:30) London Paddington to Cheltenham Spa service.

Additionally, the 23:13 Swindon to Cheltenham Spa service will be replaced by a bus throughout.

Except where shown below, trains between Bristol Temple Meads and Gloucester / Worcester Shrub Hill / Worcester Foregate Street will not run between Bristol Parkway and Gloucester.

Additionally:

  • The 09:38 Bristol Temple Meads to Worcester Shrub Hill service will start from Bristol Parkway (earlier than normal). It will divert between there and Gloucester (via Severn Tunnel Junction, not calling). It will not call at Yate and Cam & Dursley.

  • The 21:57 Worcester Shrub Hill to Bristol Temple Meads service will divert between Gloucester and Bristol Parkway (via Severn Tunnel Junction, not calling).

Rail replacement buses will operate between:

  • Bristol Parkway and Gloucester, calling at Yate and Cam & Dursley

  • Stroud and Gloucester
