Great Western Railway between London Paddington / Swindon and Gloucester / Cheltenham Spa, and between Bristol Temple Meads and Gloucester via Swindon, between Salisbury / Bristol Temple Meads and Worcester Shrub Hill, and between Salisbury / Bristol Temple Meads and Worcester Foregate Street, and between Bristol Temple Meads / Gloucester and Great Malvern, and also between Weymouth and Cheltenham Spa

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Bristol Parkway / Stroud and Gloucester, closing all lines.

CrossCountry:

Trains will be diverted to run via Severn Tunnel Junction, with extended journey times of up to 60 minutes.

Trains will run to an amended timetable, and will additionally call at Gloucester.

Great Western Railway:

Bristol Parkway - Worcester Shrub Hill / Worcester Foregate Street:

Buses will replace trains between Bristol Parkway and Gloucester.

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on local buses between Bristol Parkway and Yate.

Swindon - Gloucester / Cheltenham Spa:

Buses will replace trains between Stroud and Gloucester, calling at Stonehouse (High Street / Bath Road).

A reduced train service will run between Swindon and Stroud.

A few early morning / late night buses will extend to run between Stroud and Cheltenham Spa. Otherwise, you can use your ticket at no extra cost for alternative Great Western Railway train services between Gloucester and Cheltenham Spa.

Additionally on Saturday:

• The 05:48 Cheltenham Spa to Swindon service will not run. You should travel by later train services

• The 08:46 Cheltenham Spa to Bristol Temple Meads (via Swindon) service will not run. You should travel by alternative services

• The 22:39 Swindon to Gloucester service will not run, and will be replace by a later replacement bus, departing Swindon at 22:51
