Description

Engineering work is taking place between Bristol Temple Meads and Weston-super-Mare / Taunton, closing various lines.

No trains will run between Bristol Temple Meads and Weston-super-Mare all weekend.

CrossCountry:

Trains between Bristol Temple Meads and Plymouth / Penzance will run a reduced service. These trains divert between Bristol Temple Meads and Taunton via Bath Spa (not calling) with extended journey times of up to 1 hour.

Trains to / from Torquay / Paignton will not run.

Ticket acceptance:

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on Great Western Railway services to / from Torquay / Paignton.

Great Western Railway:

Buses will replace trains between:

  • Bristol Temple Meads and Weston-super-Mare (fast, hourly)

  • Bristol Temple Meads and Weston-super-Mare (2 per hour, calling at Nailsea & Backwell, Yatton, Worle and Weston Milton)

Buses will call at Weston Milton hourly in the middle of the day.

Trains between Weston-super-Mare and Taunton will continue to run, albeit an amended service.

A few long distance trains will be diverted to run via Westbury.

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on local buses between Bristol Temple Meads, Nailsea & Backwell, Yatton, Worle, Weston Milton and Weston-super-Mare.
