Description
Engineering work is taking place between Cardiff Central and Bridgend, closing some lines.
The following services will be amended:
Monday to Thursday:
19:30 Manchester Piccadilly to Cardiff Central will be diverted between Newport (South Wales) and Cwmbran, extending journey times
20:30 Manchester Piccadilly to Cardiff Central will be diverted between Newport (South Wales) and Cwmbran, extending journey times
20:38 Milford Haven to Cardiff Central will be diverted via Barry, extending journey times
21:46 Fishguard Harbour to Cardiff Central will be diverted via Barry, extending journey times
22:21 Cardiff Central to Crewe will depart earlier at 22:12 and will return to scheduled timings from Cwmbran onwards
22:24 Chester to Cardiff Central will be diverted between Newport (South Wales) and Cwmbran, extending journey times
22:27 Cardiff Central to Carmarthen will depart 3 minutes later at 22:31 and will be retimed throughout
23:15 Cardiff Central to Abergavenny will be diverted between Newport (South Wales) and Cwmbran, extending journey times
23:16 Cardiff Central to Maesteg will be replaced by a bus throughout, departing from Cardiff Central at 23:20
23:20 Cardiff Central to Carmarthen will be diverted via Barry, extending journey times - a rail replacement bus will operate from Cardiff Central to Bridgend at 23:00 to allow passengers to connect into services at Bridgend
Tuesday to Friday:
00:30 Cardiff Central to Hereford will be diverted between Newport (South Wales) and Cwmbran, extending journey times
04:32 Cardiff Central to Manchester Piccadilly will depart earlier at 04:15 and will return to scheduled timings from Cwmbran onwards
05:43 Swansea to Manchester Piccadilly will now split into 2 services at Cardiff Central. - A train will depart Swansea at 05:43 travelling to Cardiff Central. A second train will depart from Cardiff Central at 06:46, travelling through to Manchester Piccadilly as scheduled.
