Great Western Railway between London Paddington and Swansea
Engineering work is taking place overnight between Cardiff Central and Bridgend and also between Bridgend and Port Talbot Parkway on Monday and Tuesday , closing some lines.
Monday to Thursday:
The 20:48 London Paddington to Swansea service will divert between Cardiff Central and Bridgend (via Ninian Park – NOT calling) departing Bridgend and beyond a few minutes later than normal. On Monday and Tuesday the train will incur a few minutes additional journey time between Bridgend and Port Talbot Parkway
The 21:48 London Paddington to Swansea service will use this route as normal (via Ninian Park – NOT calling). On Monday and Tuesday the train will incur a few minutes additional journey time between Bridgend and Port Talbot Parkway.
The 22:49 London Paddington to Swansea service (also diverted between Swindon and Bristol Parkway) will further divert between Cardiff Central and Bridgend (via Ninian Park – NOT calling) departing Bridgend and beyond later than normal. On Monday and Tuesday the train will incur a few minutes additional journey time between Bridgend and Port Talbot Parkway.
Tuesday to Friday:
The 03:46 Swansea to London Paddington service will arrive/depart Bridgend a few minutes later than normal. Normal timings departing Cardiff Central and beyond.
