Various Transport for Wales routes to / from Cardiff Central

Description

Engineering work is taking place overnight in the Cardiff Central area, closing some lines.

Monday to Thursday:

The 20:37 Milford Haven to Cardiff Central service will divert via Llantwit Major arriving at Cardiff Central later than normal.

The 21:07 Pembroke Dock to Cardiff Central service will divert via Llantwit Major arriving at Cardiff Central later than normal.

The 23:16 Cardiff Central to Maesteg train will not run and will be replaced by a bus.

The 23:20 Cardiff Central to Carmarthen service will depart Cardiff Central later and divert via Llantwit Major with services from Bridgend onwards departing later. A rail replacement bus will run from Cardiff Central to Bridgend, calling at Pontyclun, Llanharan and Pencoed. This rail replacement service will connect into Bridgend for passengers travelling from Bridgend to Carmarthen

Tuesday to Thursday:

The 22:52 Aberdare to Cardiff Central service will divert via Cardiff Queen Street. Rail replacement buses will operate from Radyr to cover city line stops (Llandaf, Cathays and Cardiff Queen Street).

Tuesday to Friday:

The 05:43 Swansea to Cardiff Central will arrive into Cardiff Central at 06:39 to connect with the 06:46 Cardiff Central to Manchester Piccadilly service.
