Description

Engineering work is taking place from 21:30 on Saturday and all day Sunday between Preston and Carstairs, closing various lines.

Avanti West Coast:

From approximately 21:30 on Saturday evening until the end of service on Sunday, buses will replace Avanti West Coast trains between Preston and Blackpool North / Glasgow Central / Edinburgh.

ScotRail:

Sunday

Buses replace trains between Carlisle and Dumfries.

The last service from Carlisle to Glasgow will depart at 18:33 as a replacement bus service to Dumfries, where you should change onto the 19:50 Dumfries to Glasgow train service.

The 19:12 Carlisle to Glasgow Central service will run as a replacement bus to Dumfries.

TransPennine Express:

An amended TransPennine Express service will run between Manchester Airport and Carlisle only. Replacement buses will supplement service between Preston and Carlisle.

Replacement buses will run between between Carlisle and Edinburgh.
