Description

Engineering work is taking place between Chester and Liverpool South Parkway / Manchester Oxford Road, closing all lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.

Monday to Thursday:

The 19:42 Llandudno to Manchester Airport service will terminate at Manchester Oxford Road.

The 21:09 Birmingham International to Manchester Airport service will terminate at Chester. A replacement bus will run from Chester to Manchester Piccadilly (not calling at Warrington Bank Quay as the station will be closed).

The 21:52 Chester to Manchester Airport service will terminate at Warrington Bank Quay. A replacement bus will run from Warrington Bank Quay to Manchester Piccadilly.

The 22:01 Chester to Liverpool Lime Street service will be replaced by a bus between Chester and Liverpool South Parkway.

The 22:52 Manchester Airport to Chester service will start from Manchester Oxford Road at 22:04, and will run earlier throughout.

The 23:22 Liverpool Lime Street to Chester service will start from Liverpool South Parkway.

The 23:25 Manchester Airport to Holyhead service will start from Chester at 00:51 (Tuesday to Friday mornings). An earlier replacement bus will run from Manchester Piccadilly at 22:31 to Chester, connecting with the train.

Tuesday to Friday:

The 00:24 Manchester Piccadilly to Chester service will be replaced by a bus.

The 03:51 Chester to Manchester Airport service will be replaced by a bus between Chester and Manchester Piccadilly.

The 04:50 Chester to Manchester Airport service will be retimed to start at 05:01, and will terminate at Manchester Oxford Road.

The 05:20 Manchester Airport to Llandudno service will start from Warrington Bank Quay at 06:21. An earlier replacement bus will run from Manchester Piccadilly to Warrington Bank Quay, connecting with the train.

The 06:25 Manchester Airport to Llandudno service will be amended to start from Manchester Oxford Road at 06:48.

Ticket acceptance:

For all services, you can use alternative rail connections between Liverpool South Parkway and Liverpool Lime Street, and also between Manchester Oxford Road / Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport at no extra cost.
