Description

Engineering work is taking place between Chester and Manchester Piccadilly, closing all lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.

Monday to Thursday:

  • The 19:02 Holyhead to Manchester Airport service will terminate at Warrington Bank Quay, with a replacement bus running from Warrington Bank Quay to Manchester Piccadilly

  • The 20:02 Holyhead to Manchester Airport service will terminate at Warrington Bank Quay, a replacement bus running from Warrington Bank Quay to Manchester Piccadilly

  • The 21:09 Birmingham International to Manchester Piccadilly service will terminate at Chester. A replacement bus will run from Chester to Manchester Piccadilly

  • The 22:25 Manchester Airport to Holyhead service will start from Chester. A replacement bus will run from Manchester Piccadilly to Chester, connecting with the amended train service

  • The 23:25 Manchester Airport to Llandudno Junction service will start from Chester at 00:51 (Tuesday to Friday) with a replacement bus from Manchester Piccadilly to Chester, connecting with the amended train service

For travel between Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport, you should use alternative train services.

Tuesday to Friday:

  • The 00:24 Manchester Piccadilly to Chester service will not run, and will be replaced by a bus throughout

  • The 03:52 Chester to Manchester Airport service will not run, and will be replaced by a bus throughout

  • The 05:25 Manchester Airport to Holyhead service will start from Warrington Bank Quay at 06:19. A replacement bus will run from Manchester Piccadilly at 05:11 to Warrington Bank Quay, connecting with the amended train service
