Description

Engineering work is taking place between Chesterfield and Sheffield, closing some lines.

CrossCountry:

Trains will be retimed by a few minutes between Derby, Chesterfield and Sheffield.

East Midlands Railway:

On Saturday, there will be an amended timetable in place on the Norwich to Liverpool Lime Street route, with trains from mid morning no longer calling at Sheffield and calling additionally at Dronfield, Alfreton, Langley Mill, Ilkeston and Bamford, to serve Northern Rail passengers. Passengers travelling to/ from Sheffield should use alternative services.

On Sunday, there will be an amended timetable in place on the Norwich to Liverpool Lime Street route, with trains calling additionally at Alfreton, Langley Mill and Ilkeston, to serve Northern Rail passengers. Trains will start / terminate at Sheffield. Passengers travelling beyond Sheffield should use other operators services.

Additional amended trains on Saturday:

• The 05:21 Nottingham to Liverpool Lime Street train will run between Nottingham and Sheffield only

• The 06:37 Sheffield to Nottingham train will depart Sheffield earlier than scheduled at 06:29, it will then depart Chesterfield later than scheduled at 06:54. It will continue to run up to 4 minutes later through to Nottingham

• The 06:30 Nottingham to Liverpool Lime Street train will run between Nottingham and Sheffield only

• The 06:49 Liverpool Lime Street to Norwich train will start from Sheffield at 08:28

• The 06:53 Derby to Sheffield train will terminate at Chesterfield

• The 07:40 Sheffield to Norwich train will start from Chesterfield at 07:54

• The 07:45 Nottingham to Liverpool Lime Street train will run between Nottingham and Manchester Piccadilly

• The 07:48 Liverpool Lime Street to Norwich train will start from Sheffield at 09:30

• The 08:51 Liverpool Lime Street to Norwich train will start from Nottingham at 11:38

• The 09:51 Liverpool Lime Street to Norwich train will start from Manchester Piccadilly at 10:43

• The 10:51 Liverpool Lime Street to Norwich train will start from Manchester Piccadilly at 11:43

• The 21:50 Sheffield to Derby train will depart Sheffield earlier than scheduled at 21:53, it will then depart Chesterfield later than scheduled at 22:22. It will continue to run up to 10 minutes later through to Derby

Sunday:

The 11:45 Sheffield to Norwich train will start from Sheffield earlier than scheduled at 11:33, it will continue to run up to 12 minutes earlier through to Nottingham, where it will return to it's scheduled departure time.

Northern:

Trains between Nottingham and Leeds, will run between Sheffield and Leeds.

Your ticket will be accepted at no extra cost on East Midlands Trains services between Nottingham and Sheffield, which will call at Ilkeston, Langley Mill, Alfreton and Chesterfield.

Buses will be provided between Dronfield and Sheffield.
