Description
Engineering work is taking place between Chichester and Havant, closing all lines.
There will be no trains or rail replacement service between Barnham and Havant and the following stations have no service:
Saturday:
Fishbourne, Bosham, Nutbourne, Southbourne, Emsworth or Warblington.
Sunday:
Chichester, Fishbourne, Bosham, Nutbourne, Southbourne, Emsworth or Warblington.
Saturday and Sunday:
As you will not be able to travel on these routes using Southern services you will need to consider alternative travel arrangements for any essential journeys.
Additionally, buses that Southern had planned to run between Havant and Southampton will not run. You will need to travel via Fratton for journeys from Havant to / from Fareham.

If you are travelling from the Portsmouth or Southampton areas toward Barnham / Brighton, you will be able to use your ticket with:
South Western Railway between Southampton, Portsmouth, Havant, Fratton and Clapham Junction or London Waterloo.
Great Western Railway between Southampton, Portsmouth and Fareham.
Southern on routes between London Victoria, Clapham Junction and the Coast to allow travel via Clapham Junction
Thameslink on routes between London and Brighton
Local Buses:
Local buses routes are expected to be busy, and Southern do not expect that they will be able to carry all Southern customers, therefore Southern have not been able to arrange for tickets to be accepted on these services.
Car Parking:
Passengers that hold a Car Park season ticket will be able to park at Chichester (Saturday only) Angmering, Bognor Regis or Arundel for no additional cost. These car parks might become busy so be aware that you may be unable to park once these are full.
Refunds:
If you are unable to make your journey because of this incident and have purchased a single or return ticket (including Advance tickets), dated for travel on Sunday 24 September and you don’t use them to travel via an alternative route, you can apply for a full refund from the retailer who you bought the tickets from, without being charged any refund administration fees.
