Description

Engineering works is taking place between Colchester and Clacton-on-Sea / Walton-on-the-Naze meaning some lines are closed.

As a result:

The 22:56 Colchester to Walton-on-Naze train service will be diverted to Clacton-on-Sea. A connecting rail replacement bus service will run from Clacton-on-Sea to Kirby Cross, Frinton-on-Sea and Walton-on-the-Naze.

The 23:18 London Liverpool Street to Clacton-on-Sea train service will terminate at Colchester. A connecting rail replacement bus service will run from Colchester to Clacton-on-Sea, calling at Hythe, Wivenhoe, Alresford, Great Bentley, Thorpe-le-Soken and Clacton-on-Sea.
