Description
Engineering work is taking place between York and Darlington, closing some lines.
CrossCountry:
Buses will replace trains between York and Darlington.
Grand Central:
An amended service will be in operation, all trains will be diverted via Durham.
A replacement bus service will operate between Darlington and Hartlepool.
LNER:
An amended service will operate as follows:
1 train per hour will operate between London Kings Cross and the North / Scotland (not calling at York). These trains will call at Doncaster and Darlington.
1 train per hour will run between London Kings Cross and York.
A very limited number of trains will travel via York to/from The North / Scotland .
Replacement buses will run between:
York and Darlington.
York and Newcastle.
Lumo:
Are not affected by these works.
TransPennine Express:
The following amendments will operate:
1 train per hour between Manchester Airport and York.
1 train per hour between Liverpool Lime Street and York.
1 train per hour between Malton and Scarborough.
1 train per hour between Northallerton and Newcastle.
Services which run between Manchester Piccadilly and York via Huddersfield and Normanton will only run between Manchester Piccadilly and Huddersfield.
A replacement bus service has yet to be confirmed.
