CrossCountry between Penzance and Edinburgh / Aberdeen, between Plymouth and Glasgow Central / Edinburgh / Aberdeen, and also between Reading and Newcastle

Grand Central between London Kings Cross and Sunderland

LNER between London Kings Cross and Edinburgh / Glasgow Central / Aberdeen / Inverness and also between Doncaster and Edinburgh

Lumo between London Kings Cross and Edinburgh

TransPennine Express between Liverpool Lime Street and Newcastle, and also between Manchester Airport and Saltburn

Description

Engineering work is taking place between York and Darlington, closing some lines.

CrossCountry:

Buses will replace trains between York and Darlington.

Grand Central:

An amended service will be in operation, all trains will be diverted via Durham.

A replacement bus service will operate between Darlington and Hartlepool.

LNER:

An amended service will operate as follows:

• 1 train per hour will operate between London Kings Cross and the North / Scotland (not calling at York). These trains will call at Doncaster and Darlington.

• 1 train per hour will run between London Kings Cross and York.

• A very limited number of trains will travel via York to/from The North / Scotland .

Replacement buses will run between:

• York and Darlington.

• York and Newcastle.

Lumo:

Are not affected by these works.

TransPennine Express:

The following amendments will operate:

• 1 train per hour between Manchester Airport and York.

• 1 train per hour between Liverpool Lime Street and York.

• 1 train per hour between Malton and Scarborough.

• 1 train per hour between Northallerton and Newcastle.

Services which run between Manchester Piccadilly and York via Huddersfield and Normanton will only run between Manchester Piccadilly and Huddersfield.

A replacement bus service has yet to be confirmed.
