Northern between Bishop Auckland and Darlington / Saltburn

TransPennine Express between Liverpool Lime Street and Newcastle and also between Manchester Airport and Darlington / Redcar Central / Saltburn

Description

Engineering work is taking place in the Darlington area, closing all lines.

CrossCountry:

No trains will run between York and Newcastle.

Replacement buses will run between York and Newcastle, calling at Darlington and Durham.

LNER:

A reduced and amended service will run between York and Newcastle, with one train per hour being diverted to run via Sunderland (not calling).

Replacement buses will run between York and Newcastle via Darlington and Durham.

Lumo:

An amended and reduced service will run between Newcastle and Edinburgh only.

Northern:

Trains will start / terminate at Eaglescliffe.

Buses will be provided between Eaglescliffe and Bishop Auckland and between Darlington and Newcastle via Durham and Chester-le-Street.

TransPennine Express:

Liverpool Lime Street and York

Sunday

Manchester Victoria and Redcar Central via Brighouse

Liverpool Lime Street and York via Brighouse (Additionally calling at Lea Green)

20:44 Manchester Airport to Darlington will terminate at York.
