Description

Engineering work is taking place overnight between Darlington and Newcastle, closing some lines.

The following services are affected:

Saturday:

• The 19:54 Liverpool Lime Street to Newcastle service will not call at Darlington, Durham, or Chester-le-Street. A replacement bus service will run from Northallerton to Newcastle, departing at 22:40 and calling at all stations

• The 20:54 Liverpool Lime Street to Newcastle service will terminate at York. A replacement bus service will run from York to Newcastle, departing at 23:15

• The 21:49 Newcastle to York service will terminate at Darlington. A replacement bus service will run from Darlington to York, departing at 22:35

Sunday:

• The 07:49 Newcastle to Liverpool Lime Street service will start from York at 08:48. A replacement bus service will run from Newcastle to York, departing at 06:05
