Description

Engineering work is taking place between Edale and Sheffield, closing some lines. ​​​​​​​

East Midlands Railway:

Before 15:30, trains will run between Sheffield and Nottingham / Norwich. These trains will be retimed to run earlier or later than usual.

Replacement buses will run between Stockport and Sheffield. Between Manchester Piccadilly and Stockport, you should use alternative train services.

Northern:

Until 15:30 on Sunday 31 December, trains between Manchester Piccadilly and Sheffield will terminate / start at New Mills Central. Rail replacement buses will be provided between New Mills Central and Sheffield.

TransPennine Express:

TransPennine Express will run between Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester Oxford Road and also an hourly service between Sheffield and Cleethorpes. Rail Replacement buses in operation between Manchester and Sheffield until around 15.00
