Description

Engineering work is taking place between London Paddington and London Liverpool Street / Abbey Wood, closing all lines before 11:00.

Before 07:40:

No trains will run between London Paddington and Ealing Broadway.

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on London Buses / London Underground services between London Paddington and Ealing Broadway.

If you are using contactless payment / Oyster card, you can also use the above alternative travel options but you will be required to pay the normal tap in / tap out fares for your journey.

Between 07:40 and 11:15:

Because the low level platforms are out of use at London Paddington and London Liverpool Street, these services will be amended to run to / from the main platforms at London Paddington / London Liverpool Street (numbered platforms) instead of the Elizabeth line platforms (lettered platforms).

Therefore, the following alterations will apply:

  • Until 11:15, trains will run between Shenfield and London Liverpool Street (high level) only

  • From 07:40 until 11:00, trains will run between Reading / Heathrow Airport and London Paddington (high level) only

If you have a National Rail paper ticket or e-ticket, you can use your ticket at no extra cost on the following operators’ services between London Paddington and London Liverpool Street / Abbey Wood:

  • London Underground

  • London Buses

  • Docklands Light Railway

If you are using contactless payment / Oyster card, you can also use the above alternative travel options but you will be required to pay the normal tap in / tap out fares for your journey.

From 11:00:

The following amended service will operate:

  • 2 trains per hour to / from Reading, calling additionally at Iver

  • 2 trains per hour to / from Heathrow Terminal 5

  • 2 trains per hour to / from Heathrow Terminal 4

Please note there will be no service at Acton Main Line, Hanwell or West Ealing.
