Amended East Midlands Railway Regional Christmas timetable from Tuesday 24 to Friday 27 December

Please see below revised East Midlands Railway Regional timetable over the Christmas period:

Tuesday 24 December:

Due to Christmas Eve early shutdown, EMR Regional will be running a reduced timetable in the evening. The last trains are as follows:

Crewe - Newark Castle Route:

• 19:10 Crewe to Derby will not run and will be replace by a bus

• 19:44 Newark Castle to Crewe will not run, you are advised to travel on alternative services

Norwich - Liverpool Lime Street Route:

• 14:51 Liverpool Lime Street to Norwich will terminate at Grantham at 18:09

• 15:48 Norwich to Liverpool Lime Street will terminate at Sheffield at 19:47

• 16:56 Norwich to Liverpool Lime Street will terminate at Nottingham at 19:31

• 17:50 Norwich to Sheffield will terminate at Nottingham at 20:35

• 17:51 Liverpool Lime Street to Norwich will terminate at Nottingham at 20:35

• 21:56 Sheffield to Derby will now depart earlier at 19:59 and run earlier throughout

Leicester - Cleethorpes Route:

• 15:39 Leicester to Grimsby Town will terminate at Cleethorpes at 18:32

• 17:43 Leicester to Cleethorpes will terminate at Market Rasen at 19:48

• 18:38 Grimsby Town to Leicester will start at Cleethorpes at 19:00 and will terminate at Lincoln Central at 20:05

• 20:44 Leicester to Lincoln Central will terminate at Nottingham at 21:31

Nottingham - Matlock Route:

• 18:56 Nottingham to Matlock will terminate at Derby, a rail replacement bus will run between Derby and Matlock, calling at missing stations

• 20:13 Matlock to Nottingham will not run. A rail replacement bus will run, calling at missing stations

• 20:54 Nottingham to Matlock will terminate at Derby at 21:21

Peterborough - Doncaster Route:

• 18:47 Doncaster to Peterborough will terminate at Sleaford at 20:06

• 19:26 Peterborough to Doncaster will terminate at Lincoln Central at 20:37

• 20:49 Doncaster to Peterborough will terminate at Lincoln Central at 21:36

Nottingham - Skegness Route:

• 17:48 Nottingham to Skegness will terminate at Boston at 19:28

• 18:46 Nottingham to Skegness will terminate at Sleaford at 19:59

• 19:20 Skegness to Nottingham will terminate at Boston at 19:54

Nottingham - Worksop:

• 18:00 Nottingham to Mansfield Woodhouse will not run, you are advised to use alternative services

• 18:25 Nottingham to Worksop, arriving at 19:33

• 18:43 Mansfield Woodhouse to Nottingham will not run, you are advised to use alternative services

• 19:39 Worksop to Nottingham, arriving at 20:50

Cleethorpes - Barton on Humber:

• 16:56 Cleethorpes to Barton on Humber, arriving 17:49

• 17:54 Barton on Humber to Cleethorpes, arriving at 18:49

Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 December:

• No train or timetabled bus service will operate

Friday 27 December:

East Midlands Railway Regional will be running a reduced timetable. Trains will not start until after 07:00. The following services will be the first services of the day:

Crewe - Newark Castle Route:

• 06:08 Crewe to Newark Castle will start at Nottingham at 07:57, it will no longer call at Crewe, Alsager, Kidsgrove, Longport, Stoke-on-Trent, Longton, Blythe Bridge, Uttoxeter, Tutbury and Hatton, Derby, Long Eaton, Attenborough or Beeston. You are advised to use alternative services

• 07:05 Crewe to Newark Castle will start at Uttoxeter at 07:53, no longer calling at Crewe, Alsager, Kidsgrove, Stoke-on-Trent, Longton or Blythe Bridge. You are advised to use alternative services

• 21:19 Nottingham to Crewe will terminate at Blythe Bridge, no longer calling at Longton, Stoke on Trent, Kidsgrove, Alsager and Crewe. A connecting rail replacement bus will run between Uttoxeter and Crewe, calling at missing stations
