Between London Waterloo and Salisbury / Yeovil Junction / Exeter St Davids
Description
The prolonged hot weather has dried out the soil between Salisbury and Exeter St Davids, changing the stability of our tracks and requiring trains to run at reduced speeds.
From Monday 10 August, train services between London Waterloo and Exeter St Davids will run to a temporary timetable, as follows:
Services between London Waterloo and Salisbury will continue to run every 30 minutes, with no changes
One train per hour will run between London Waterloo and Yeovil Junction
Most journeys from London Waterloo to Yeovil Junction will take 3 minutes longer than usual, with journeys from Yeovil Junction to London Waterloo taking 13 minutes longer than usual
One service every two hours will run between Yeovil Junction and Exeter St Davids
Most journeys from London Waterloo to Exeter St Davids will take 24 minutes longer than usual, with journeys from Exeter St Davids to London Waterloo taking 27 minutes longer than usual
We will provide updates as conditions change and will give you advance notice before returning to the normal timetable.
