All routes to / from Glasgow Queen Street

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Bishopbriggs and Ashfield, closing some lines.

Glasgow Queen Street – Aberdeen / Inverness / Elgin: Trains are diverted via Cumbernauld.

Glasgow Queen Street – Edinburgh (via Falkirk High): Trains are diverted via Cumbernauld and will not call at Croy or Falkirk High, trains will call additionally at Falkirk Grahamston and Cumbernauld.

Glasgow Queen Street – Stirling and Alloa: Trains operate Glasgow Queen Street – Stirling via Cumbernauld and will not call at Bishopbriggs, Lenzie or Croy, a separate train service will operate between Stirling and Alloa only.

Glasgow Queen Street – Cumbernauld: Trains are extended to Stirling.

Glasgow Queen Street – Anniesland: No replacement buses will run. You should use local buses at your own cost, or use station help points for further assistance.

Glasgow Queen Street – Oban, Fort William & Mallaig: Train services will be diverted via Springburn and Glasgow Queen Street Low Level to / from Oban, Fort William and Mallaig, with the following exceptions:

The 09:03 Glasgow Queen Street to Oban and 17:04 Oban to Glasgow Queen Street trains are cancelled throughout with no rail replacement

The following trains will not call at Dalmuir:

  • The 11:56 Glasgow Queen Street to Oban service

  • The 12:11 Oban to Glasgow Queen Street service

  • The 16:01 Mallaig to Glasgow Queen Street service

  • The 17:57 Glasgow Queen Street to Oban service

You should use other train services between Dalmuir and Dumbarton Central to connect with these trains.

Replacement buses operate as follows:

  • Glasgow Queen Street – Bishopbriggs – Lenzie – Croy – Cumbernauld (connecting with Glasgow Queen Street – Stirling trains)

  • Croy – Cumbernauld (connecting with Glasgow Queen Street – Edinburgh trains)

  • Falkirk High - Falkirk Grahamston (connecting with Glasgow Queen Street – Edinburgh trains)
