Great Western Railway between London Paddington / Bristol Parkway and Swansea / Carmarthen

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Cardiff Central and Swansea, closing some lines.

As a result, Great Western Railway services to / from Swansea / Carmarthen will be diverted to run on an alternative route between Cardiff Central and Bridgend.

Most trains that usually run between London Paddington and Carmarthen (apart from exceptions listed below) will run between London Paddington and Swansea only.

On Sunday, the 19:20 Carmarthen to London Paddington service will run throughout, and will call at Cardiff Central and beyond later than usual.

Additionally:

Saturday:

  • The 07:04 Bristol Temple Meads to Swansea service will start from Bristol Parkway at 07:03, and will divert as above.

Sunday:

  • The 08:58 Bristol Parkway to Swansea service will start at 09:01 and will be diverted as above.
