Buses replace late night trains between Guildford and Petersfield / Portsmouth Harbour on Monday 22 and Wednesday 24 January

South Western Railway between London Waterloo / Guildford and Portsmouth Harbour

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Guildford and Petersfield, closing all lines overnight on Monday and Wednesday evenings. ​​​​​​​

As a result:

Monday and Wednesday only

• The 22:19 Portsmouth Harbour to London Waterloo service will be amended to terminate at Petersfield.

• The 22:30 Waterloo Portsmouth Harbour service will be diverted to run via Winchester.

• The 22:30 Waterloo Portsmouth & Southsea service will terminate at Guildford.

• The 23:19 Portsmouth Harbour to Guildford service will terminate at Petersfield.

• The 23:32 Waterloo Portsmouth Harbour service will terminate at Guildford.

The following additional train services will run:

Monday and Wednesday:

• The 23:24 Guildford to London Waterloo service.

Tuesday and Thursday:

• The 00:41 Petersfield to Portsmouth Harbour service.

• The 01:38 Petersfield to Portsmouth & Southsea.

Replacement buses will run between Guildford and Petersfield / Portsmouth Harbour.

On Tuesday night / Wednesday morning, trains are not affected by engineering work, and will run as normal.
