No trains to / from / via Huddersfield on Sunday 20 December

Northern between Huddersfield and Sheffield

All TransPennine Express between Liverpool Lime street and York / Newcastle, between Manchester Airport and York / Redcar Central and also between Manchester Victoria and Scarborough

Description

Engineering work is taking place at Huddersfield, closing all lines.

Northern:

Buses will replace trains between Huddersfield and Lockwood.

Trains will run between Lockwood and Sheffield.

TransPennine Express:

No trains will run between Stalybridge and Dewsbury.

As a result, TransPennine Express train services will run to an amended timetable, with trains diverting to run via Hebden Bridge (not calling), between:

• Liverpool Lime Street and Newcastle

• Manchester Airport and Redcar Central / Saltburn

• Manchester Victoria and Scarborough

• Leeds and Hull

• Manchester Piccadilly and Stalybridge

Rail replacement buses will run between:

• Stalybridge and Huddersfield (direct)

• Stalybridge and Huddersfield, calling at Mossley, Greenfield, Marsden and Slaithwaite

• Huddersfield and Brighouse
