Description

Engineering work is taking place between Stalybridge and Mirfield and also between Huddersfield and Lockwood / Penistone, closing all lines.

Northern:

Trains between Sheffield and Huddersfield will be revised to run between Sheffield and Penistone / Lockwood only. A replacement bus service will operate between Penistone / Lockwood and Huddersfield.

TransPennine Express:

There will be no services through Huddersfield station.

TransPennine Express will operate as follows:

Saturday

• Manchester Victoria to York

• Liverpool Lime Street to Newcastle

• Leeds to Hull

• York to Redcar Central / Scarborough

• Wakefield Kirkgate to York

• Manchester Airport to Stalybridge

Sunday

• Manchester Airport to Stalybridge (before 12:30)

• Manchester Airport to York (after 12:30)

• Manchester Victoria to York (before 12:30)

• Manchester Piccadilly to Stalybridge (after 12:30)

• Liverpool Lime Street to Newcastle

• Leeds to Hull

• York to Redcar Central / Scarborough

• Wakefield Kirkgate to York

The following rail replacement bus services will be in operation (on both Saturday and Sunday)

• Huddersfield to Brighouse and Halifax

• Huddersfield to Wakefield Kirkgate

• Huddersfield to Stalybridge (fast and local stopping services)
