Description

Engineering work is taking place between Stalybridge / Huddersfield and Mirfield, closing all lines.

No trains will run to / from / via Huddersfield all weekend, and until approximately 05:15 on Monday morning.

Northern

No trains will run between Stalybridge and Huddersfield / Mirfield.

Replacement bus services will run between Huddersfield and Lockwood / Brighouse / Halifax.

Replacement bus services, provided by TransPennine Express, will run between Huddersfield and Dewsbury.

TransPennine Express

Saturday and Sunday

No TransPennine Express trains will run between Stalybridge and Mirfield. Trains that would normally run via Huddersfield will be diverted, calling additionally at Brighouse.

Replacement bus services will run between Huddersfield and Brighouse / Stalybridge / Wakefield Kirkgate / Manchester Airport.

Additionally on Saturday, the 22:54 Liverpool Lime Street to Huddersfield service will terminate at Manchester Victoria. A replacement bus will run from Manchester Victoria to Huddersfield.

Monday

The following services will not call at Huddersfield but will additionally call at Brighouse. A rail replacement bus service will be in operation between Huddersfield and Brighouse in both directions.

• 02:44 Manchester Piccadilly to York

• 02:48 York to Manchester Airport

• 03:59 Manchester Airport to Scarborough
