Description

Engineering work is taking place between Cambridge / Ely and Ipswich, closing all lines.

Buses will replace trains between:

• Cambridge North / Ely and Ipswich.

• Ipswich and Norwich.

Connecting trains will operate between Cambridge North and Cambridge, and between Ely and Peterborough.

For those travelling between Norwich station and London Liverpool Street whom wish to avoid the engineering work, a small number of extra 'relief' trains are being provided between Norwich and Cambridge on Saturday and Sunday (via the Thetford route) which connect with Greater Anglia West Anglia services between Cambridge and London Liverpool Street. These 'relief' services are expected to be busy, however.
