Description

Engineering work is taking place at London Bridge, closing most lines.

Southern:

All day on Saturday and Sunday, no trains will run between London Bridge and East Croydon / Crystal Palace via New Cross Gate / Sydenham.

Replacement buses will run between New Cross Gate and Crystal Palace.

Trains between London Bridge and Caterham / Tattenham Corner will run to an amended timetable and will be diverted to run via Peckham Rye.

London Victoria to London Bridge trains will only run between London Victoria and Crystal Palace.

On Saturday, trains which usually run between East Croydon and Watford Junction will only run between Clapham Junction and Shepherds Bush / Watford Junction.

Uckfield trains will only run between East Croydon and Uckfield. Trains that usually run between London Bridge and Epsom will not run.

A reduced number of trains will run between London Victoria and West Croydon. Southern and Gatwick Express trains between London Victoria and Gatwick Airport / south coast destinations will also run to a slightly amended timetable due to changes to the times of Thameslink train services that are diverted between London Bridge and East Croydon.

Ticket acceptance:

Paper rail tickets will be accepted at no extra cost on London Bus route 157 between Crystal Palace and West Croydon.

Tickets will also be accepted at no extra cost on London Underground Jubilee line trains between London Bridge and Canada Water, and on London Overground trains between Canada Water and New Cross Gate.

Tickets will also be accepted at no extra cost on Southeastern trains between London Victoria and Penge East / Nunhead.

Thameslink:

All day on Saturday and Sunday, most Thameslink trains will be diverted and unable to call at London Bridge.

Thameslink Rainham route trains will run to an amended timetable between Luton and Rainham on Saturday, and between Kentish Town and Dartford on Sunday.

All other Thameslink trains which usually run via London Bridge will be diverted between London Blackfriars and East Croydon, not call at London Bridge, and run to a revised timetable with extended journey times.
