Description

Engineering work is taking place between Leeds and York, closing all lines.

CrossCountry:

A reduced service will call at Wakefield Westgate and Leeds. No trains will run between Leeds and York.

You should use alternative services between Leeds and York.

LNER:

Saturday:

  • The 07:08 Leeds to Aberdeen service will now start from York at 07:35

Sunday:

  • The 08:30 Leeds to Edinburgh service will start from York at 10:00

Northern:

Buses will replace trains between Leeds and York / Selby.

TransPennine Express:

Trains will be diverted to run via Castleford, extending journey times.

An amended service will run between:

  • Dewsbury and Hull (via Castleford)

  • Dewsbury and Redcar Central (via Castleford)

  • Leeds and Newcastle (via Castleford)

  • York and Scarborough

  • Wakefield Kirkgate and York (via Castleford)

  • Liverpool Lime Street and Huddersfield (via Stalybridge)

  • Manchester Airport and Huddersfield - calling at stations (via Stalybridge)

  • Manchester Victoria and Huddersfield - calling at stations (via Hebden Bridge)
