Description

Engineering work is taking place overnight at various locations on the Northern network between Manchester Victoria and Rainhill, closing some lines.

Monday to Thursday:

The 22:20 Blackpool North to Liverpool Lime Street service will not call at stations between Wigan North Western and Liverpool Lime Street. A bus will be provided from Wigan North Western to Liverpool Lime Street to serve these stations.

The 22:44 Wilmslow to Liverpool Lime Street service will terminate at Manchester Oxford Road. A bus will be provided from Manchester Piccadilly to Liverpool Lime Street.

The 23:00 Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Airport service will start from Manchester Oxford Road. A bus will be provided from Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Airport.

The 23:22 Liverpool Lime Street to Preston train service will not run and will be replaced by a bus.

The 23:30 Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Victoria train service will not run and will be replaced by a bus.

Tuesday to Friday:

The 05:30 Manchester Victoria to Liverpool Lime Street service will not run. Customers are advised to use the 05:32 Manchester Airport to Liverpool Lime Street service (dep Manchester Piccadilly 05:54 and Manchester Oxford Road 05:57).
