Heathrow Express between London Paddington and Heathrow Terminal 5

Description

Engineering work is taking place between London Paddington and Southall, closing 2 out of 4 lines throughout the day.

Elizabeth line:

Trains which usually run between Maidenhead and Abbey Wood will run between London Paddington (Elizabeth line platforms) and Abbey Wood only.

Trains between Heathrow Terminal 4 and Abbey Wood will run to a reduced service of 2 trains per hour.

Trains to / from Reading will additionally call at Iver.

As a result, the following stations will have a reduced service:

  • 2 trains per hour: West Drayton, Langley, Slough and Burnham

  • 6 trains per hour: Ealing Broadway, Southall and Hayes & Harlington

  • No trains: West Ealing, Hanwell or Acton Main Line

For West Ealing, Hanwell or Acton Main Line, if you have a National Rail paper ticket or e-ticket, you can use your ticket at no extra cost on the following operators’ services:

  • London Buses

  • London Underground

If you are using contactless payment / Oyster card, you can also use the above alternative travel options but you will be required to pay the normal tap in / tap out fares for your journey.

Great Western Railway:

Long distance services:

Long distance services between London Paddington and Oxford / Bristol Temple Meads / Worcester / Great Malvern / Hereford / Paignton / Plymouth / Penzance will be retimed to depart up to 6 minutes earlier or later than usual.

Local services:

After 08:35, the majority of trains between London Paddington and Didcot Parkway will be amended to run between Reading and Didcot Parkway only. Trains between London Paddington and Swindon will be amended to call additionally at Slough, Maidenhead and Twyford.

Heathrow Express:

From 09:25 until the end of the day, trains will run at a reduced service of every 30 minutes between London Paddington and Heathrow Terminal 5.
