Description

Engineering work is taking place between Hayes & Harlington and Reading, closing some lines on Sunday.

Elizabeth line:

Before 08:00, buses will replace trains between West Drayton and Slough. A shuttle train service will run between Slough and Reading.

After 10:00, trains that usually run between Abbey Wood and Maidenhead will run between Abbey Wood and London Paddington (Elizabeth line platforms) only.

A reduced service will run at the following stations:

  • 8 trains per hour to / from Ealing Broadway, Southall and Hayes & Harlington

  • 2 trains per hour to / from Maidenhead, Burnham, Slough, Langley and West Drayton

Great Western Railway:

Local services:

  • The 06:20 Reading to London Paddington service will terminate at Slough

  • The 06:38 London Paddington to Reading service will start from Slough

For these two trains, you should instead travel by later train services.

From 08:30, trains from London Paddington to Didcot Parkway will be amended to run up to 2 minutes earlier than usual.

Long distance services:

Trains between London Paddington and Swindon / Oxford / Cheltenham Spa / Worcester / Great Malvern / Hereford / Bristol Temple Meads / Swansea / Carmarthen / Paignton / Plymouth / Penzance will be retimed to run up to 8 minutes earlier or later than usual
